We are an interdisciplinary research group at the University of the Fraser Valley developing immobilized enzyme microreactor for proteomic studies. We use different enzymes and crosslinkers to digest various proteins. For more on enzyme immobilization and peptide mapping see our recent articles. And to follow us check our news page.
In Golfam’s lab, we encourage diversity of all types, various ethnic, gender, disciplinary and academic backgrounds, so we learn from each other how to always be looking in new directions. Our goal is to provide an environment that welcomes and encourages the success of young scientists from groups that might be under-represented in chemistry, which we believe will be an opportunity for us to learn how to become more flexible, adaptable and more accepting.
